David Arquette claims Wes Craven will direct SCREAM 4
SCREAM 4 hasn't been much of a secret, it seems that some sort of rumor is spouted off by the cast and crew all the time. We have found out over time that much of the original cast will return to their roles, the big question was if original director Wes Craven would be in. According to David Arquette, he will be in the director's chair again.
While speaking with MTV at the Golden Globes, Arquette stated "Yes, Wes [Craven] is in, Neve [Campbell] is in, everyone is in." After his wife and SCREAM co-star Courteney Cox-Arquette gave him an odd look, she followed with, "I know they're trying to make that work. They'll make it work, I hope."
To me, I think that they are probably just holding off on the official announcement that he will return as director. I think Courteney was just trying to do a quick cover-up. I know for a fact that a huge selling point for this movie will be if Craven does indeed return. What do you guys think?
