David Cronenberg’s COSMOPOLIS adds Sarah Gadon to the cast
David Cronenberg’s A DANGEROUS METHOD is in post-production, so the focus now shifts to the casting of his newest film, COSMOPOLIS. Canadian actress Sarah Gadon joins Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Mathieu Amalric, and Samantha Morton in Cronenberg’s latest.
The film is inspired by the novella of the same name that shows 24 hours in the life of billionaire Eric Packer (Pattinson). The film follows Packer as he attempts to get a haircut, but his vices, in addition to some disgruntled business associates, get in the way.
Aside from the indie film CHARLIE BARTLETT, and the quickly axed television series Happy Town, Gadon doesn’t have many credits that audiences will recognize stateside. In addition to COSMOPOLIS, Gadon also has a part in Cronenberg’s A DANGEROUS METHOD. Working on two films with David Cronenberg should have U.S. audiences paying attention to her.
The film begins shooting this summer in Toronto.
