David Slade

The superhero craze appears to still be going strong. While DAREDEVIL wasn't exactly a hit, in the box office or with critics, it looks we'll be seeing more of that world with a new quasi-sequel directed by David Slade.

The sequel will follow the continued adventures of the blind superhero established in the 2003 film, but without Ben Affleck or Jennifer Garner. It will feature a brand new cast, presumably with new villains as well. No screenwriter has been attached, so it will be a while before this hits the big screen.

With David Slade at the helm, it will be interesting to see the direction they go with. With his biggest box office success being THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, they might be trying to lure more women to the fanboy-heavy genre.
