DIFF 2011 Video Interview: SALVATION BOULEVARD writer/director George Ratliff
Writer/director George Ratliff (HELL HOUSE) is back with another film set in the world of evangelical Christianity. SALVATION BOULEVARD is a narrative look at the lengths the members of one mega-church will go to for their pastor (played by Pierce Brosnan. The film also stars Greg Kinnear, Ed Harris, Marisa Tomei, Jennifer Connelly, and Jim Gaffigan.
We recently sat down with the filmmaker to discuss setting a film against the backdrop of modern day religion, why a lot of filmmakers avoid the area, the response to showing the film in the buckle of the Bible belt, and more!
