DIFF 2011 Video Interview: THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD writer/director Morgan Spurlock
Morgan Spurlock is, and I mean this admirably, a skilled and clever documentarian peddling in popcorn films. He makes independent, social commentary films not only accessible, but fun and thought-provoking no matter his audience. His newest work THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD leaps off the platform he built with SUPER SIZE ME six years ago, exposing the difficulty involved with movie-making fundraising.
Spurlock, and that wonderful NASCAR inspired suit, discussed the challenge making a film with no initial budget, the back and forth between creativity and the supporting patrons, and how Mane and Tail needs more loving.
