Dinosaurs set to attack LA thanks to WB

It’s about damn time we get a revival of monster movies.

With GODZILLA getting a reboot along with Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming PACIFIC RIM, monster movies appear to be all the rage now, and WB is looking to get itself yet another monster picture. According to Deadline, the studio has nabbed a pitch revolving around a race of dinosaurs taking out their anger on the city of Los Angeles.

John Clisham, a member of James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment, is behind the pitch and will direct the film from a script he co-wrote with Mike Bayman, and frankly, that’s all we know.

Personally, while it may be hard to get all that excited about a studio film like this, if it’s an action-packed monster movie, color me excited. Given the right cast and director, this thing may end up being something at least enjoyable. Color this writer optimistic, at least.

What do you think?
