Dreamy NEW MOON pics

NEW MOON is shaping up to be different from its predecessor, and I am not sure it is going to be a good different. TWILIGHT was, in my opinion, an average movie that could have been so much better if they would have just changed this and tweaked that. The majority of the this and thats I wish would have been changed were in CG areas. That piggy-back ride through the forest was absolutely absurd-looking. So, my hope all this time through the pre-production of NEW MOON was that, if they change anything, I want it to have better graphics.

I'm not sure if CG is one of the things the TWILIGHT filmmakers were too worried about, but one area within the film that seems to be getting a lot more attention in the sequel is the sexuality. If you don't believe me, check out the image after the jump.

Yeah, that is a picture of Edward Cullen hovering over Bella in bed. Oh, and look at Bella's eyes. Let's just say, she isn't looking at Ed's eyes, and Pattinson's pants are quite tight... So, NEW MOON definitely looks to be playing up the sexuality of the story. Which might have something to do with this rumor I heard once about sex selling.

Most of the sexuality will come from the band of hairy brothers, the werewolves, because Edward and his family move off in the sequel. Although, like we have told you in the past, the filmmakers have found a way to keep plenty of Edward-and-Bella-together screen-time, the dream/visions. Here is a very comical still of one of those dreamy meetings between the two.

So, I am still anticipating NEW MOON even though I was ultimately let down by TWILIGHT. Maybe I am too hard on the series because of the unbelievable amount of healthy buzz that surrounds the franchise. Did I ask for too much? I guess we will all have to hold out on our judgments until NEW MOON hits theaters the 20th of November.
