Duncan Jones’ next film
Director, and friend to Gordon and the Whale, Duncan Jones (@manmademoon) will go from deep in outer space to deep under the sea with his second directorial effort ESCAPE FROM THE DEEP, based on the nonfiction book of the same name.
ESCAPE FROM THE DEEP tells the tale of a WWII submarine stranded at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean after a reported torpedo malfunction. Faced with certain death, some of the crew members attempted to swim the surface 180 feet above with nine of the men successfully surviving.

Jones' first film MOON, starring Sam Rockwell, tells the story of a man isolated on the Moon for three years, with only himself and a robot for company. The film, which has had immense success and played to rave reviews on the festival circuit, will get its limited release in the U.S. starting June 12th.
Having been at two of said film festivals and having the privilege, nay the pleasure, of seeing the film three times (make that four after CineVegas), I highly suggest you check out MOON when it plays in your area. Need more convincing? Well, it is OUT OF THIS WORLD! And it co-STARS Kevin SPACEy! After those reasons, you would be silly ASTRONAUT to!
