Edward Norton “in talks” to play villain in THE BOURNE LEGACY
Yes, emphasis on the "in talks," - whenever we get news like this, as exciting as it is, we cannot state this as a fact. But that doesn't change the fact that Edward Norton playing a villain in the upcoming THE BOURNE LEAGACY would be fantastic. Although I can't imagine how dastardly he could be allowed to get if he plays another Conkilin, Pamela Landy, or Noah Vosen.
We do know for certain two huge things about THE BOURNCE LEGACY: number one, it will not be about Jason Bourne - that could be a good thing, because many are tired of the forgetful assassin shtick three movies in. This is pretty big, especially if you're a huge fan like I am. Number two: Jeremy Renner will play another assassin, who, guess what? Is also in search of his identity. Another exciting thing for me, because I've always had a crush on her, is the inclusion of Rachel Weisz in the cast, too!

Tony Gilroy (who was the writer behind THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, as well as MICHAEL CLAYTON, DUPLICITY, and STATE OF PLAY) is directing from a script that he wrote, and Frank Marshall, Ben Smith, and Jeffrey Weiner are producing THE BOURNE LEGACY.
No word yet on when filming starts.
