Eli Roth’s next directorial project, ENDANGERED SPECIES
Eli Roth has finally settled the debate on which film he'll be directing next by announcing it today while promoting INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS with Tarantino at the Morelia International Film Festival. Roth will direct a sci-fi film entitled ENDANGERED SPECIES after its expect script completion this month. No details on the plot have been released, but my magic eightball tells me its going to be a horror film that details with species that are, well, endangered.
This will mark Roth's return from a 2 1/2 year absence from the director's chair. I bet he was off on vacation being a little BASTERD.
Roth is currently busy producing two films: THE MAN WITH THE IRON FIST with rapper-turned-director RZA (Robert Fitzgerald Diggs), Arcade Entertainment, and Eric Newman, and COTTON, a horror film production that partner Strike Entertainment will be showing Sundance in two weeks.
Roth also stated he has finished the THANKSGIVING script - the awesome faux trailer in GRINDHOUSE - in which he'll direct, produce, and possibly act in as well.
No word yet on when he plans to run for presidency.
