Emile Hirsch to live THE MOTEL LIFE

Emile Hirsch is an actor I would watch in just about any role, because he is just that good. Even when he took up the mantle of Speed Racer in what ended up being a horrendous, yet incredibly fun adaptation, he brought a lot of enjoyment and fun to the character.

Now, after what seems like a while out of the spotlight, he is going to be taking up a role in THE MOTEL LIFE, based off a novel by Willy Vlautin. The story follows two brothers who face turmoil after one drunkenly hits a teenager on a bike with his car. They flee their motel-ridden lives in Reno to escape any sort of blame for the kid's death.

I haven't the slightest doubt that Hirsch will be able to gravitate this film to another level, and his casting adds a whole lot of potential to the film. He always pulls of dramatic roles really well, just look back at INTO THE WILD.

What do you guys think about this casting announcement?
