Enter to win a poster of THE MESSENGER signed by Woody Harrelson and director Oren Moverman
Have you heard of THE MESSENGER? It stars Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster as American soldiers who have the responsibility/burden of going to fallen soldiers’ houses and telling their widows/family they’ve died in battle. You know who those soldiers are, we’ve all seen them in the movies, and nobody ever wants to do that job. Director Oren Moverman carefully and effectively captured the tangled emotions he so gracefully attacks in the film.
I remember Ben Foster talking to me about this film at Comic Con some months back, saying how fantastic Woody Harrelson was in the film. He wasn’t lying, Woody was incredible. I saw the film a few weeks ago, and I doubt there’s any sort of measurement that could have captured just how fast the tears were pouring out of my eyes.
THE MESSENGER opens in theaters in less than a month, so we decided to give away something really cool from the film to celebrate. We have one 27″ X 40″ poster of THE MESSENGER signed by Woody Harrelson and director Oren Moverman. Want this hot item hanging on your wall for your pals to gaze at? All you need to do is follow us (@gandthew) and THE MESSENGER (@MessengerFilm) on twitter and tweet “I am the messenger @GandtheW @MessengerFilm.” On Monday, 11/09, we’ll select a winner via random drawing and announce on twitter. Good luck!
And remember, go see THE MESSENGER when it hits theaters November 20th!
