Eric Bana is missing out on all the fun THE AVENGERS are having at the big-kids table
Way back in 2003, Ang Lee and Eric Bana teamed up to bring you the definitive crappy HULK movie. Sure, there were some redeeming moments, but the film has become lost in the shuffle over time.
Now it appears Eric Bana has become a little teary-eyed and wistful when the subject of THE AVENGERS and Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of the Hulk come up in conversations. In a recent interview with MTV's Splash Page at the New York Comic-Con, Bana expressed his thoughts on the future of THE HULK. Check it out after the jump.
"The obvious potential there is those movies can be a lot of fun to make. But then sometimes they're not. I would be jealous if it turns out they just go off and have a good time."
Awwww, sounds like someone's a little jeal-jeal. You can almost see the moment when Bana realizes that all he wants to do in life is be giant and green and play around with Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson. He definitely got into the Marvel superhero game a little too early, which is unfortunate, except for that Mark Ruffalo is cooler and American. Maybe one day Bana will get to eat with the adults once again and fill the obviously gaping hole in his lustful heart.
