Fantastic Fest ’09 Spotlight: 100 Best Kills Party

Fantastic Fest is just around the corner (17 days!), and boy am I excited. From today until the last day before the festival begins, we'll be doing articles about cool things and/or screenings happening at the festival. Which brings me to our first one, which future serial killers will love: the 100 Best Kills Party.
Starting at 12:15 AM on Wednesday, September 30th at the Alamo on South Lamar, the kind, but twisted FF programmers will be interactively celebrating the most dirtiest and bloodiest kills in cinematic history. To kick off the party, they’ll be showing you their top 100 kills. Then--this is where it gets real cool--they’ll open the floor to attendees to showcase their favorite movie homicide.
Think you’ve seen the gnarliest kill? Bring a DVD that will play on a laptop or all-region DVD player and you’ll get your chance at showing everyone what a sick person you are. Make sure to mark the timecode of the kill and hand it to Zack Carlson. At the end of the night, prizes will be awarded to the most disgusting kills.
Keep in mind, this is going to be some pretty gross stuff. If your tummy doesn't sit well when blood, guts, brains, or eyeballs pour onto the screen, this is one party you may wanna skip.
Fantastic Fest runs September 24th - October 1st. You can purchase tickets HERE.
