Finally, Spike Jonze’s I’M HERE finds a home; massive DVD/CD/book release
Just a few days ago, we found out details revolving around the release of the soundtrack to Spike Jonze’s latest short piece of cinematic brilliance, I’M HERE.
Well, now we know how the film itself will be getting a release, and it may be just as brilliant as the film inside the package.
According to The Playlist, McSweeny’s is currently taking pre-orders for the hotly talked about film, all in a combo including the DVD (with special features), the soundtrack, and a book that includes behind the scenes photos. No release date has been set, but the set looks absolutely breathtaking.
It goes without saying that this is one of the better films of the year so far, and if there is one film more heart-wrenchingly poetic in its melancholy the rest of the year, we’re in store for one hell of a fall and winter season. I have the “making of” book for WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, and it’s an absolute must-read. So hopefully this book will also follow suit, because this film deserves nothing less.
You can now pre-order the package for just $35.
