The GATW staff guarantee that after seeing the first scene from the upcoming thriller THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED, you'll definitely want to see more. I assume that Anchor Bay agrees, since they have just released the first five minutes of the film online.

ALICE CREED stars breakout star Gemma Arterton (PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, CLASH OF THE TITANS) as the daughter of a wealthy tycoon who is kidnapped by two men demanding ransom. Sounds like the standard set up for this kind of film, but in the first scene director J Blakeson lets you know that this is not your run-of-the-mill kidnap scenario, and the rest of the film continues to prove that. The characters' relationships become more and more dynamic over the course of CREED, until you're not exactly sure who you're supposed to be rooting for.

Learn all of the things you need in order to effectively kidnap someone by watching the first scene after the break and feel free to read my Tribeca review of the film here!

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED opens in select theaters and on VOD on August 6th.
