First look at Robert De Niro in RED LIGHTS
Talk about a weird first look.
Thanks to Shock Til’ You Drop, we have the first look at iconic actor Robert De Niro in the upcoming Rodrigo Cortes (BURIED) film, RED LIGHTS, and it appears to give us absolutely no insight into what to expect from the film.
Now, that in and of itself isn’t a rare thing, particularly for often over-discussed production photos, but with regards to this film, it’s interesting. The project stars De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy, and Elizabeth Olsen, and follows a psychologist and her assistant who, while studying paranormal activity, is lead to a psychic.
De Niro will be playing the psychic, who is set to come back into the fold after 30 years, so while this photo itself seems enigmatic, it could have quite a bit of context. You’ve got the returning psychic, on stage, probably for some sort of presentation where the psychologist and her assistant see him. It’s a really weird first photo, but hey, it’s a Rodrigo Cortes film, so frankly, it doesn’t need to do much to get me excited.
