First Look: THE HOBBIT
I think it’s safe to say that Peter Jackson’s upcoming two-part epic THE HOBBIT is arguably the most anticipated project that the film world has to offer. And now, while we are still over a year away from seeing the damn thing, we now have our first look at the film.
Thanks to EW, we have three brand new stills from the film, which gives us our first look at Martin Freeman as Bilbo, our lead, and a new look at Ian McKellan as Gandalf. And I must say, while I’m not even a fan of the franchise, I can’t help but kind of get excited for this sure-fire classic.
The first film, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY, is set to hit theaters on December 14, 2012, and with a massive cast at its disposal, this is bound to be one of the truest epics to ever bare the adjective. As mentioned above, I’m not a huge fan of the fantasy genre or the LORD OF THE RINGS franchise, but these photos sure look great. Count me in.
