Behold! The non-stop teases coming from the production of Peter Jackson's adaptation of THE HOBBIT continues on today, with yet another look at one of the many dwarves that make up the cast of the film. For those who aren't familiar with THE HOBBIT, the story is a lot more dwarf-centric than LORD OF THE RINGS is.

Thorin is a dwarf prince who has a personal vendetta against the film's main villain, a dragon named Smaug. Smaug has killed many of Thorin's family and their people, along with stealing their collection of gold and jewels. This is what leads Thorin and his company to Bilbo's doorstep, where Gandalf suggests Bilbo join their journey. Also in the photo is Thorin's sword Orcist, which is commonly known as the Goblin-Cleaver.

I love the varied design of the dwarves in THE HOBBIT, they don't all look like Gimli, and have personalities in their own right. Richard Armitage certainly looks the part too, showing yet another case of great casting for the film.

THE HOBBIT is certainly shaping up to be something incredible. I'm definitely hanging on a wire until we get our next peek behind the curtains.
