Not a fan of the grainy unofficial look at Sacha Baron Cohen from his upcoming film, THE DICTATOR? How about this.

Thanks to The Huffington Post (and to The Playlist for the heads up), we have our first official look at Cohen as the titular leader, in what appears to be a masterpiece of symmetrical hair design.

The film stars Cohen, Ben Kingsley, Anna Faris, and Jason Mantzoukas, and finds Cohen playing dual roles, as a goat herder and a foreign dictator, seen here. The film is also inspired by Saddam Hussein’s novel, Zabibah and The King. It will follow the story of “the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”

Personally, I adore this photo. I think the look is really fantastic, and with Larry Charles back in the director’s chair following BORAT and BRUNO, this is one film to definitely keep an eye on. It’s been a while since we’ve had a really interesting comedy on the big screen, and hopefully this will be as topical, and comedic, as Cohen’s past works.
