First trailer for FAST FIVE
I would be a liar if I said THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise wasn't a major guilty pleasure of mine. It may not cause me to carry as much guilt or be the source of as many sleepless nights as that time when I was a kid and I thought the cat was machine washable, but it's up there. Close second for sure.
This time around the track the car club is all back for FAST FIVE, including the usual suspects like Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, a few old faces like Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Matt Schulze, and even a new, goatee'd one with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. FAST & FURIOUS/TOKYO DRIFT director Justin Lin is at the driver's wheel once again.
The new trailer just sped onto the web and let's just say it goes from zero to balls to the wall in 1:57. Check it out after the break!
In all seriousness, it looks like Lin and his pit crew are continuing here what they began with FAST & FURIOUS in their attempts to legitimize the film by making it less about street racing and more of a straight forward heist flick.
