Flynn lives and drinks at this secret Comic Con TRON bar in San Diego
Some of you will remember the unveiling of Flynn's Arcade at last year's Comic Con, where a few hundred lucky fans got to play classic style arcade games in a recreation of the original arcade in TRON. Not only were old favorites like Tempest (the first color vector monitor arcade game), FROGGER and MISSILE COMMAND fully playable, there were even a number of working Space Paranoids games - the original TRON game featured in the film that Kevin Flynn developed and mastered. A secret room opened up behind one of these games, and geeks of all creed and color got their first glimpse at the new light cycle and other gems from the upcoming sequel TRON: LEGACY.
This year - late Thursday night, in fact - Flynn's opened up again. This time, the secret room turned out to be a TRON bar (every town needs one) where footage of the film and music from Daft Punk played on an endless loop. Also on display were some truly inventive and just plain cool pieces of merchandise from the upcoming film. Could Disney have a new STAR WARS on their hands?
