Someone loves themselves some Brit Marling.

Fox Searchlight has announced that they have nabbed the Marling-starring film, SOUND OF MY VOICE, joining ANOTHER EARTH, which is also being released by the studio.

The film is directed by Zal Batmanglij, and is penned by both Marling and Batmanglij, and follows the story of an LA couple who “ infiltrate the underworld of a cult led by an enigmatic young woman named Maggie (Marling). Intent on exposing her as a charlatan and freeing the group members from her spell, Peter and Lorna start to question their objective as they unravel the mysteries of Maggie's past.”

Starring Marling, Christopher Denham, Nicole Vicius, and Avery Pohl, the film made more than a splash at Sundance (read our review here) and has quickly become the launching pad for what appears to be one hell of a career moving forward for Marling. She’s fantastic in ANOTHER EARTH, and has been getting even better responses for this film, so hopefully it will be able to hit theaters relatively soon.

No release date has been set yet, but with how well this film has been received after playing Sundance and SXSW, it won’t stay that way for long.
