As Comic-Con nears, this year’s light, at least pertaining to the film world, is going to be shined on some projects that are far smaller than those in previous years. No Batman. No Superman. No Avengers. However, there are still a lot of films to be really excited about.

One film that will be hitting this  year’s event is Francis Ford Coppola’s new film, originally known as TWIXT NOW AND SUNRISE. I say originally known as, because the film has gotten a brand new titled. Deadline is reporting that the film will not only show footage at this year’s event, but is now going by the name of TWIXT.

The film stars Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning, and Ben Chaplin, and is being described as “one part Gothic romance, one part personal film, and one part the kind of horror film that began my [Copolla’s] career."

I think it goes without saying that the film world is insanely excited to see what Coppola has to offer with this project. However, the title is absolutely silly. I think the title of TWIXT NOW AND SUNRISE is fantastic, and gives a real sense of mood to the picture. TWIXT just sounds small. Juvenile in a way.
