The film will be heavily promoted at Comic Con

San Diego Comic-Con without anything from Marvel just won’t be the same. However, there will definitely something to look forward to at this year’s SDCC.

Cinema Blendrelays that Craig Gillespie’s FRIGHT NIGHT will have a “FRIGHT NIGHT Feeding Frenzy” at SDCC this year; the news comes from a DreamWorks press release. This “frenzy” includes screenings of the horror feature, a party for the fans, and a panel in Hall H featuring Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, writer Marti Noxon, Gillespie, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Colin Farrell.

FRIGHT NIGHT has emerged as an odd title in regards to anticipation. There doesn’t seem to be much hype for the film, despite an enjoyable trailer that hit last month. Still, if the film makes a strong showing at SDCC, which kicks off on July 21 after a preview night on July 20, then buzz might build, and the film could become a big hit or, in the very least, a future cult classic.
