So, it's finally here. The show that we cinephiles have been waiting for for just about four or five months now.

The 2011 Academy Awards (or 2010, how ever you want to think about them) are upon us, and while this awards season has been one of the longest, and most talked about in some time, it's all about to come to a close.

While THE KING'S SPEECH came into the evening with the most nominations, clocking in at a robust 12 nods, is it truly the most beloved film of the year? In the second year of this attempt at bringing 10 nominees in for Best Picture, is it a big budget film's turn to take the award, or will it stay in the realm of relatively smaller fare? How are hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco? Will Banksy be accepting an award in person tonight? Will his film EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP even win Best Documentary?

Stay tuned for the answers to those questions and more as we bring you the winners of the 83rd Annual Academy Awards, as they are announced!

Hey! i was cheated last night…I only missed 7 predictions and the winner missed 6…i should have been 2nd place! *insert angry face*

i was robbed, now I know how meryl streep felt when she lost to kate for the the reader!

(btw, if the winner…really only missed 5 instead of 6…then ignore this comment…consider it one of james franco un-delivered jokes. but…that should really make me third place..BRONZE BABY. but i remember hearing 6 for the dude who won that toy story bag)

Robbed? Hrm. Not sure if there’s another way to do it but we normally only have one grand prize winner.

We do hope you enjoyed all the hard work we put into the event though, and not just focusing on not getting the final prize.
