Full trailer for 127 HOURS debuts
Just when you thought it was safe to go back out into the dangerous canyons of the Tatooine desert, the new trailer for 127 HOURS arrives to remind you that it's probably not a good idea.
The first trailer for 127 HOURS gave us a brief glimpse into the Danny Boyle directed story of survival. This new trailer, which comes to us by way of Apple, shows us how Boyle plans to approach the more intimate scenes which feature James Franco playing knife-tease with his supple, supple arm. There are a lot of things happening stylistically that feel like great little nods to previous Boyle films. The use of a video-log and voice-over is reminiscent of SUNSHINE and the scope of scenery versus the small world of a central character brings back a lot of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE and 28 DAYS LATER memories.
The films success will hinge on the ability of Franco to deliver a captivating performance, and the trailer makes sure you know that it's damn good. With early audience reviews shelling out praise for the film, 127 HOURS is quickly becoming a must-see event.
