Giovanni Ribisi becomes a part of THE GANGSTER SQUAD
Ruben Fleischer’s period crime flick, THE GANGSTER SQUAD, just got more awesome. Deadline Hollywood reports that Giovanni Ribisi has signed on for a role in the feature.
Ribisi will star as a member of the group named Conway Keeler, who also happens to be an electronics wiz. THE GANGSTER SQUAD earlier nabbed Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling to play Los Angeles cops on an elite squad tracking down Mickey Cohen in the late ‘40s; Academy Award winner Sean Penn is on board to play Cohen. What’s more, Michael Peña and Anthony Mackie also have roles in the film.
Having proven himself time and time again, Ribisi is an amazing screen presence who should work nothing but magic alongside Brolin, Gosling, and the other actors set for roles.
