[REC] 2 poster

Magnet Releasing DVDs

This contest is now over.  The winner has been notified via email!

[REC] was one of the most original and horror-ific movies I've seen in a long time, so I made sure not to miss the sequel, [REC] 2, when it played at last year's Fantastic Fest. This sequel is a great follow up and the scares will stay with you for a while. Since the release of [REC] 2 is just around the corner, we teamed up with Magnet Releasing to give one of our fabulous readers a chance to win this prize pack: a full-size poster signed by writers/directors Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza along with the following Magnet DVD titles: DONKEY PUNCH, SPLINTER, and THE SIGNAL!

To enter the contest, all you have to do is fill out the form after the jump. Deadline ends at 11:59 PM on July 8. On July 9, we will select a winner via random drawing and notify them by email. No purchase necessary, winners must live inside the U.S. (no P.O. boxes), and one entry per household. Good luck!

[REC] 2 opens on July 9 and is now available on VOD, XBOX Marketplace, Playstation Network, VUDU and Amazon.

Official Synopsis:
[REC] 2 The highly anticipated sequel to one of the scariest films of all time, [REC] 2 picks up 15 minutes from where we left off, taking us back into the quarantined apartment building where a terrifying virus has run rampant, turning the occupants into mindlessly violent, raging beasts. A heavily armed SWAT team and a mysterious government official are sent in to assess and attempt to neutralize the situation. What they find inside lies beyond the scope of medical science—a demonic nightmare of biblical proportions more terrifying than they could have possibly imagined.  Above all it must be contained, before it escapes to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting world outside.
