GREENBERG gets a trailer
A couple of weeks ago, Focus Features announced its full 2010 slate, featuring GREENBERG as its lead-off film, opening on March 12. The film stars Ben Stiller, Greta Gerwig, Chris Messina, Rhys Ifans, Juno Temple, Mark Duplass, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and was written and directed by Noah Baumbach (THE SQUID AND THE WHALE). The film follows Stiller’s Roger Greenberg who “at a crossroads in his life…ends up housesitting at his brother’s home in Los Angeles. There, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with his brother’s assistant Florence (Gerwig), an aspiring singer. Florence and Greenberg’s encounters lead to an uncertain and wonderfully vulnerable courtship.”
Now we’ve got the first trailer for GREENBERG. Stiller doesn’t hold back on the cynicism, pretty much denouncing the entire human race within the first fifteen seconds. The rest of the trailer gives us glimpses into the unfolding romance and, well, an unfolding Greenberg. I’m sold.
Check out the full trailer for GREENBERG after the jump!
