HARRY POTTER to reveal bare pooter in next film?

It is beyond obvious that the HARRY POTTER franchise is a series directed towards a wide array of ages. Nudity, however, usually makes a film pretty off-limits for children. Regardless of that fact, there is apparently going to be some Harry Potter de-robing. I guess those in charge liked what they saw when Daniel Radcliffe bared it all in the play Equus! The only question is, how much are they going to show?

David Yates, director of the next installment, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, has spoken out concerning this touchy material.

“Dan has appeared nude in the past. There are a couple of scenes in the new film in which he will undress, but we’re still thinking about how we present it."

READ ON FOR MORE.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

I can handle shirtless, but I think those mother's might think twice about purchasing tickets for their children if Harry's huggies are hitting the floor. There are actually three scenes in which they are currently discussing/planning some nudity for. The first takes place when Harry and best bud, Ron Weasley, are battling an evil creature. In an attempt to create dissent between the friends, the creature uses his evil power to show Ron images of his crush, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter together in an intimate manner.

“We’ll create something that feels very sexy and very intriguing to bring about a reaction in Rupert."

If I saw my crush in an intimate manner with my friend, I think I would probably have a negative reaction too, so I see why they might want to include a little skin in this scene.

The next scene in question is when Hermione and Harry dance together. Now, those of you that have read the books are probably confused, for the scene in which those two dance is completely harmless. Well, again, here is what Yates has to say.

“It’s where Hermione and Harry dance together and is not in the book. It’s something we create for the film and is actually very tender...They also reveal some secrets about each other while dancing.”

Now, Yates does not necessarily say anything about nudity, but he did, for one reason or another, bring this scene up while talking about nudity in the film. So, who knows.

“There is another scene in King’s Cross station, where Harry almost dies and sees Dumbledore. In that scene, he will also be naked.”

This seems to be starting to get a little too gratuitous. In many films nudity is added for the heck of it, but HARRY POTTER isn't a Michael Bay franchise. Sure, there are a handful of perverted Potterettes that are begging for an "Equus" moment, but in the end, nudity will heighten ratings and lower ticket sales. Is it worth it?

Are we going to catch a glimpse of Potter's pooter? Are we going to be flashed by Harry's harry? Is the magician going to whip out his wand? I hope to God that the answer is a definitive "No!", but only time will reveal how much sorcerer skin we will see on the big screen November of next year.

its a part of the story, and if the directors cut it out just because of some peoples insecurities or skitish nature then they will lessen the effect.
movies are an art form, and destroying art is like destoying freedom of speach or free will, would any1 be that cruel?
do people complain when people are nude on stage or see a greek nude sculpture? no, so why should this be any different?
the fact is people see nudity everywere, its just a part of the human body, so why should any1 be intimidated.
