It looks like I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS may have finally found a home.

According Deadline, the massively troubled film, I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS, which has seen more release date changes than any film in recent memory, has finally found a distributor and a release date. The outlet is reporting that Roadside Attractions, who recently nabbed up the rights to Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s BIUTIFUL, will release the picture, on December 3.

For those who may or may not remember, the film hit Sundance last year, and was picked up four months later by Consolidated Pictures Group. Then, after numerous release date shifts, the rights ended up lapsing out of CPG’s hands, and the group went to court with Newmarket Pictures. Now, after the dust has cleared, we will finally get to see this hotly anticipated comedy.

Personally, I can’t wait. I dig the premise, and the idea of Jim Carrey getting back to things a little more indie, is quite exciting. Hopefully this is the last we hear of the film until early December.
