If you thought the trailer was sexy, wait till you see the international poster for DRAGON TATTOO

It's been a game of waiting eagerly in anticipation to see just a glimpse of anything from David Fincher's Americanized take on THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, but we've gotten quite the appetizer to its main course this week. First it was that red band "bootleg" that mysteriously made its way onto the Internet Saturday (which appears to now be pulled down by Sony in an attempt to back up their bootleg story), then the green band trailer yesterday, and now we're getting a glimpse at the first (international) poster for the film via /Film. Interesting that the studio is focusing its marketing efforts internationally first, and U.S. second.

The Canadian teaser poster is very much in the vein of those first initial photos of Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in W Magazine. Apparently the French tagline translates to "Evil Will Be Hunted By Evil," similar to the tagline on the photo of the English version that's also floating around out there that carries the tagline "Evil Shall With Evil Be Expelled." pinned to it. And I use pinned in the literal sense, as Miss Mara is flaunting some chestical jewelry in that version.

After that description, I don't think you need a disclaimer but I'll go ahead and give you one all the same. It's not all that safe for work.
