Image released for upcoming Nickelodeon “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series
Nickelodeon is one of the few cartoon channels that I find still shows quality cartoons that adults can get into. Look at Avatar: The Last Airbender, a series that many people consider one of the best animated series of all time. Back in 2009 Nickelodeon acquired the rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, exciting fans like myself to no end.
Just the other day, they released a new image and some info about the upcoming Avatar sequel Legend of Korra. Today, they released an image for their upcoming CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Check it out after the break!
The art style seems reminiscent of the 2007 CGI film, with a slight hint of anime style. Needless to say, it looks pretty cool but makes me curious as to what the series will be like. The image does look serious, but I've always been a fan of the Turtles when they keep their sense of humor. But from Nick's past series, there is no reason to fret over the content.
Nick seems to be on fire right now, and t looks like I might be tuning into their channel a lot more frequently next year when the show starts.
What do you guys think about the new series?
