I don't know why, but the new international poster for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER looks like something you would see in the window of a fast food joint as a promotional piece for the movie. Maybe it's because Tommy Lee Jones has that expression on his face that just says "I could really go for a burger right now..." or maybe it's because Red Skull looks like red meat...or maybe I'm just hungry. Who knows?

Thus far, the posters for the film have been pretty good, considering the fact that the posters for IRON MAN and THOR were, for the most part, your pretty generic Hollywood action film floating torso style. The international poster is more in that vein and yet it's not all-together horrible. Very comic booky, if you will, with a nice color scheme.

Check it out after the break to decide for yourself!

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER hits stateside July 22nd and in UK cinema on July 29th
