Interview: Alexa Vega (BROKEN HILL)
Alexa Vega is one of those child stars who will continue to have a successful acting career because of her good attitude, motivated heart, and smart choice in acting gigs. Her new indie film, BROKEN HILL, takes place in the Outback of Australia and and follows Tommy (Luke Arnold), a skilled composer who dreams of schooling it up at the famous Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Things are temporarily put on hold when he gets in a bit of mischief with Kat (Vega), and his talents are put to the test when he must teach music to a group of prison inmates. It's one of those indie films that you can tell every cast and crew member put a lot of heart into.
This past Tuesday I spoke with her on the phone (while she was cooking eggs might I add), and we had a nice chat about BROKEN HILL. And TWISTER! She was in TWISTER! Keep an eye on this girl, because I think she's stickin' around the Hollywood beat for a long time.
