Sophie Barthes has strangely wonderful dreams. So wonderful, she took one of them and made it into a full-length film and called it COLD SOULS.

COLD SOULS stars Paul Giamatti as a very depressed actor, Paul Giamatti, who stumbles on an article in The New Yorker about a high-tech company that extracts, deep-freezes, and stores people’s souls and decides to get his soul removed. Things get really interesting when he wants it back, only to find it's been sold to someone in Russia.

Please listen to my interview with Sophie, as we talk about the inspiration behind her writing/directing debut, COLD SOULS, how she got Paul Giamatti to play the main character, which is himself, and what it was like working with such a talented cast.

COLD SOULS is now in theaters. Check your local indie theater to see if it's playing near you!
