In the words of Stan Lee, "Excelsior!" Two little bits-o-news about upcoming IRON MAN projects broke yesterday. The first is something we all expected: the Associated Press is reporting that Robert Downey Jr. will be blasting his way into another wacky adventure in IRON MAN 3. That's right! There will be another IRON MAN film outside of THE AVENGERS.

And the fun doesn't end there, take another breath from your inhaler and read on...

While IRON MAN 3 is all shiny and fun, we still have IRON MAN 2 to focus on. Olivia Munn (co-host of  "Attack of the Show" on G4) sat down with Complex recently and discussed her role in IRON MAN 2. Originally, Munn was set to be some kind of Iron Man groupie but it looks like the tides have turned...

"Actually, they just gave me another role in the film. I had to reshoot all of my scenes...as they started to edit they realized it was becoming darker than what they'd expected and what my scenes had allowed for. My parts were lighthearted and comedic. Jon Favreau called and was like, 'I've got good news and bad news: This is what's happening in editing but we all really like you.' Marvel and Jon had to add another character from the Marvel universe to keep me included."

Say whaaaaat? The film was becoming too dark? They added another character from the Marvel universe? Be still my beating heart, I may have just slipped into a nerd coma. IRON MAN 2 is kind of like a Rubik's Cube; it's all bright and colorful but once you take a closer look you begin to see a lot that you hadn't noticed at first and your mind begins to melt. Let's just hope that, unlike a Rubik's Cube, I don't decide to give up on the puzzle and throw it at the neighbors' cat.

IRON MAN 2 will be flying into theaters May 7th!
