Bill Hader is one classy mofo. Not only is he a part of the Saturday Night Live cast that reinvigorated the show but he has a solid film career building as well. So it's not surprising that Edgar Wright would have Hader as part of his already brilliant SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD cast. What is surprising is that his presence in the film has been kept under wraps until now. This afternoon Wright tweeted a message that sent Scott Pilgrim fans into a frenzy.

"Just did some final ADR sessions with Jason Schwartzman, Garth Jennings and Bill Hader."

For those unfamiliar, ADR is the process of dubbing over lines in a film to polish the final product. What could Hader's involvement in the film mean? In another tweet Edgar Wright gave another major hint as to what Hader's roll involves. Check it out after the break...

Edgar Wright has this to say in reference to Bill Hader's involvement in SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD...

"Those with sharp ears can hear Mr. Hader in the trailer."

This can basically mean only one thing. Bill Hader does the video game announcer voice-overs for the film. Anytime there is a "fatality" or "combo" the Mr.Moviefone voice you hear is that of Hader's. In fact, in both trailers there is an example of his voice-over work. Trailer #1 has the "KO" and trailer #2 has a"Combo." I know this is essentially pointless news, however I am enjoying the idea of having this film full of badass people, right down to the voice-over work. You can almost imagine Hader asking to be involved in the film and Wright giving him something fun like this!

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD hits theaters on August 13th.
