James Woods and Dominic Purcell join STRAW DOGS remake cast
Back in July, James brought you information about the remake of Sam Peckinpah’s STRAW DOGS. This week sees further information involving casting. According to director Rod Lurie’s Facebook page, James Woods and Dominic Purcell have also been cast. They join James Marsden (David Sumner), Kate Bosworth, and Alexander Skarsgard who were all previously announced.
I must say, James’ initial outrage and commentary are dead on and despite the further casting announcements, I am still very skeptical of this remake, to say the least.
STRAW DOGS is currently in production and is scheduled for release in 2011.
