Jane Lynch joining THE THREE STOOGES
And this film continues to get more and more interesting.
Deadline is reporting that Jane Lynch has joined the cast of the upcoming film, THE THREE STOOGES, to be helmed by the Farrelly brothers.
The outlet reveals that she’ll take on the role of a nun, who will for all intents and purposes likely play a mother figure to the trio of goofballs, who start off their story in an orphanage. The film will consist of three interconnected shorts, following the lives of our leads, Larry, Curly, and Moe.
Lynch joins an odd cast including Sean Hayes, Will Sasso, and Chris Diamantopoulos as the three lead characters, and Sofia Vergara, who herself is set to take on one of the lead female roles.
Personally, while I’m not a fan of the Farrellys or many of their films, I do really dig where this cast is going. It sounds so odd and so off-the-wall, which actually makes this project sound all the more intriguing.
