Jason Statham does his same ol’ butt-kicking in BLITZ trailer
Jason Statham knows what he can do best. From kicking ass in CRANK, to kicking butt in DEATH RACE 2000, to beating people up in THE ITALIAN JOB, he obviously has his niche figured out. His latest movie, BLITZ, has just released its U.K. trailer, and it looks like it’ll be a wild, action-filled ride.
With a cop killer on the loose, Statham has to start kicking ass and taking names to get to the bottom of it. The film also stars Paddy Considine, Aiden Gillen, and Luke Evans. The release date is still to be determined, but expect it to drop in 2011.
While some may complain about the sameness of his films, I like that I know exactly what to expect when Jason Statham is the lead: high action, high badass-ery, and the ability to eat lots of popcorn without worrying that the loud crunching will make it hard for me to follow the plot.
