Jason Sudeikis joining Seth Gordon’s HORRIBLE BOSSES
It's been a busy month for SNL. They've had their latest movie adaptation, MACGRUBER, come out. Betty White hosted their show after a Facebook campaign which involved millions of people. And over the past few days, SNL cast members have been swooped up to play several roles. The latest involves Jason Sudeikis joining HORRIBLE BOSSES, the latest film from Seth Gordon.

I'm a big fan of Seth Gordon's work, particularly THE KING OF KONG. KONG is a documentary which follows one man in his quest to break the world record for the Donkey Kong arcade game. It's unique in the documentary world as it has a certain degree of narrative force that isn't often found in the world of non-fiction cinema. He also made the moderately funny holiday comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon, FOUR CHRISTMASES.
Lately, Gordon has been rounding up quite the cast for his next project- HORRIBLE BOSSES. Sudeikis is just the latest to join the cast, following Jamie Foxx, Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston, and Jason Bateman. Not only is the cast et al pretty phenomenal, but Gordon's eye for comedy and appropriate casting will inevitably result in a pretty great comedy.
Sudeikis has been a busy guy, as he just finished shooting HALL PASS with the Farrelly Brothers and will also appear in GOING THE DISTANCE which hits theaters this August. Back at SXSW, I interviewed the director of TUCKER AND DALE VERSUS EVIL who told us that Jason Sudeikis was originally cast in the role that Alan Tudyk would end up playing. Looks like this SNL star is just getting his start in the industry!
