Jaume Collet-Serra set to direct Liam Neeson while he saves an international airliner full of passengers in NON-STOP

Over the past few years, we’ve become privy to something known as the 'Liam Neeson Punch' trilogy. Films like TAKEN, UNKNOWN and the best of the bunch, THE GREY, have not only proved that Neeson is a viable action star, but that people will pay to see this man physically assault everything from sex slave traders to wolves. And now, he’ll get his chance to take out some flight attendants with an old partner of his.

Collider reports that director Jaume Collet-Serra has joined the upcoming film, NON-STOP, following the story of a man who must save the passengers of an international flight that comes under duress. Neeson is set to star in the film, which should fit perfectly in Neeson’s new series of action projects.

Personally, I love this news. I think Collet-Serra is a fine thriller director, and while their last  collaboration, UNKNOWN, was a rough piece of action filmmaking, this sounds like it may very well eclipse anything Neeson has done to date.  One can only hope, right?
