Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page join Woody Allen’s next film
According to Variety, rising actors Jesse Eisenberg (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) and Ellen Page (INCEPTION) have been added to the cast of Woody Allen's next film. Eisenberg's name had been previously mentioned for the project, but Page's name is new to the mix.
Eisenberg and Page will star opposite Penelope Cruz (VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA) and Alec Baldwin (THE DEPARTED) in Allen's follow-up to MIDNIGHT IN PARIS, which is set to open the 64th annual Cannes Film Festival on May 11, 2011 and stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, and Michael Sheen.
Apart from the casting, and the fact the as-yet-untitled film will shoot in Rome over the summer period, little is known about Allen's next project, but that's something we've come to expect from the inherently reserved director.
