30 MINUTES OR LESS is a phrase that resonates with many of us.  We here at GATW are most interested in the fact that it's the next comedy film from director Ruben Fleischer of ZOMBIELAND fame.  The film already has Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, and Nick Swardson attached. Which pretty much means we will have our ass in the seats at the first opportunity we get to see this film.  It's been speculated for days now that ZOMBIELAND alum Jesse Eisenberg would be reteaming with Fleischer for the film.

Eisenberg was up for the role of Will, a pizza delivery man and the ex best friend character of junior high school History teacher Chet (Ansari). The deal breaker in their friendship is Will's thing for Chet's sister. The pair must reconcile their differences when Will is forced to rob a bank with a homemade bomb strapped to his chest by a pair of idiot criminals (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). Michael Pena is also on board as a tattooed assassin.

Eisenberg recently wrapped production on director David Fincher's facebook drama THE SOCIAL NETWORK  in which he plays company co-founder Mark Zuckerberg.

30 MINUTES OR LESS is planned to shoot this summer.  The film is expected to be released August 20th, 2011.
