You know who would make really ugly babies? Jim Sturgess and Malin Akerman. It's not their fault (both people are immensely attractive in their respective genders) but together they'd make one fugly baby. Jamlin Akergess would be a blight upon baby attractiveness everywhere and thus, should be avoided at all costs.

However, according to Bleeding Cool, Sturgess and Akerman will be teaming up for Christopher McDonald's first film titled WILDWOOD INN. If ever there has been a trend in Hollywood, it's this; you are required to hook up with your attractive co-star in a romantic film. Jamlin Akergess never had a chance.

Christopher McDonald has previously gained fame for scaring the crap out of us in REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, but this will be his first turn in the director's chair. WILDWOOD INN follows the story of two dissatisfied married individuals who stay in a mountain cabin during alternating seasons. The two fall in love via the cabin's welcome journal and then stuff happens and blah blah blah the end.

Does anyone else think this sounds like a Ghostbusted version of  THE LAKE HOUSE or exactly like every other cabin-oriented love story ever? Hopefully Sturgess and Akerman can breathe some fresh air into this stale concept. Though, inevitably, they will have a love scene which will lead them to fall in love in real life and then have a gross, ugly baby. So in the end, the only real reason this film should happen is so you can tell your friends that you just say the new "Shooter Mcgavin joint."
