As one of today’s most well-respected comedic actors, Jonah Hill is apparently set to take his talents to the other side of the camera.

According to Deadline, Hill is in talks to direct the upcoming film, THE KITCHEN SINK, based off of a Black Listed screenplay penned by Oren Uziel.

The film follows “the unlikely alliance between a high school-aged vampire, zombie and human as they try to save their town from invading aliens,” and will be set up at Sony Pictures, where Hill is currently quite a hot commodity. Hill has both 21 JUMP STREET and MONEYBALL currently waiting in the wings at the studio, so apparently this is quite a partnership.

KITCHEN SINK is just one of the many Black List scripts currently in production, and may have one of the most interesting plots on the list to boot. Personally, I love this premise, and while I’m not quite sure how good of a filmmaker Hill will truly be, his addition as director definitely makes this an interesting little project.
