After the success of VALENTINE'S DAY, it's probably a good bet that director Gary Marshall made a list of every major holiday and started making phone calls. Is he planning an epic romantic comedy trilogy? Marshall has a lot of clout in Hollywood, and the cast for NEW YEAR'S EVE proves it. Read about the impressive cast list after the break.

Josh Duhamel has just been added to a cast that already includes Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Halle Berry, Jessical Biel, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hilary Swank, Zac Efron, Sienna Miller, Lea Michelle, Sofia Vergara, Abigail Breslin, and Jon Bon Jovi. No description is offered describing the character Duhamel will play, but I'm guessing it's a bo-hunk with a heart. Why not be bold and have Kutcher and Duhamel play a gay couple who have their relationship challenged when Jon Bon Jovi makes a move on one of them during the night's festivities?

New Year's Eve is usually full of drama by the end of the night, with couples secretly wanting to break things off in order to enter the new year with a clean slate, so expect to see some emotional fireworks in Marshall's NEW YEAR'S EVE when it drops December 9th of this year.
