Juno Temple (ATONEMENT) and Michael Angarano (CEREMONY) have been cast in quirky indie comedy THE BRASS TEAPOT.

THE BRASS TEAPOT will be directed by Ramaa Mosley, and centers on a broke young couple (Angarano and Temple) who steal a brass teapot that produces cash whenever someone feels pain. Tim Macy wrote the screenplay, and production company Northern Lights Films are financing the project, which is being fast-tracked for a July start in New York City.

Northern Lights Films' president Kirk Roos said, “We were excited to produce Brass Teapot when it was simply a great script and an ambitious director...So, it was a super bonus to land an amazing cast on top of an already sexy and smart dark comedy.”

Temple is quite the hot property at the moment. Not only has she landed a supporting role in Christopher Nolan's THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, but she'll also be seen in KILLER JOE, JACK AND DIANE, and THE THREE MUSKETEERS, all set for release later this year.
